Why we built this

We made this molecule for 15 years. Then our own dog needed it.

Mochi is our Shiba. For months he chewed his paws raw. The licking, the smell, the hot spots that came back as soon as they cleared. We wiped his feet with alcohol after every walk, because that’s what you do.

Then one day he flinched from the wipe and pulled his paw away.

That was the moment. We had spent our careers making one of the gentlest antimicrobial molecules there is, and it had never once occurred to us to reach for it for him.

So we did. Within days the licking eased. The hot spots calmed. He slept through the night without working at his feet.

Then we spent a year making it better than anything on the shelf: stable enough to actually last, gentle enough that it doesn’t matter when he licks it off. We made Burrow Made for Mochi, and for every dog like him.
