What is hypochlorous acid?

Your pet’s body already makes it

HOCl is the molecule your dog’s own white blood cells produce to keep their body clean. It’s antimicrobial in the truest sense, antibacterial and antifungal in a single molecule, the same gentle chemistry trusted in hospitals and food-safe settings for decades. The catch: it’s so reactive that bottling it was the hard part. That’s what we spent 15 years on, buffered and pH-locked at 6.4, independently tested to hold full strength for 18 months.

Why doesn't it sting?

No alcohol, no fragrance, and a pH matched to your pet’s own skin and tears, so even on a raw, licked-open spot it feels like nothing. It lifts the grime, funk, and buildup, then breaks down and dries away, leaving no residue behind. It cleans, then it’s simply gone.

Is it safe if they lick it?

They will. It’s fine, that’s the point. Independently tested as non-irritating and non-toxic: paws, folds, ears, tear stains. Spray, let dry, let them lick. A molecule their body already makes, that leaves nothing behind, doesn’t need a warning label.
